1. What is coaching and what are the benefits of coaching?

Coaching has helped countless people surpass their limitations and achieve their personal and professional goals.

The  International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximise their personal and professional potential. The process of coaching often helps clients to tap into their inner resources of imagination, productivity and leadership to create the change they want.

2. Are there professional standards for the coaching industry?

Yes, different coaching associations will have their code of ethics, core competencies, accreditation processes. The International Coaching Federation for example, sets standards and has more than 50,000 credentialed members in more than 140 countries worldwide. 3. How will I know you are the right coach for me?

During our virtual chat or discovery session, we will determine if we are a good fit to work together. So, before you say "yes", you will have a clearer idea of what the coaching experience will be like. You can also click on the "Meet Your Coach" page to learn more about me and my approach in coaching.

4. How do I get started in the coaching process?

5. What can I expect from you as my coach? 

  1. Be a partner in bringing out the best, the deepest, and the truest in you;
  2. Provide safety, encouragement and support; an environment in which you can relax and explore;
  3. Respect the confidentiality of the agreements we make;
  4. Expand your view of what is possible and promote discovery of new insights;
  5. Give you input, straight feedback and operate as a sounding board;
  6. Listen carefully to what you say and ask questions that increase awareness;
  7. Be an on-going resource for you in accomplishing your intentions.

6. What if I sign up and decide it is not right for me? 

For individual coaching, if you show up and participate fully in the coaching process, and you find after three sessions that this is not working for you, we can mutually agree to end the coaching. There will be no refund for any payments already made for completed coaching sessions.

As Team Coaching and facilitated Workshops are customised according to your needs as discussed, once we have agreed on the requirements and the Terms of the Contract and payment made, there is no provision for the cancellation of the contract.

7. How do I sign-up or register? What can I expect when I register? 

At our Discovery call, I will let you know how you can sign-up or register for Individual Coaching.

If you want to sign-up or register for Team Coaching or a customised Workshop, we will follow-up after the Discovery call with a process to discuss your requirements and agree on the Terms and Conditions before formalising a Contract.

8. How do I access and manage my private client area? 

[NB. This section only applies for Individual Premier Coaching clients who signed up for coaching that includes access to a Private Client Area.]

How do I access my private client area and how do I log in?

Click on the Login link in the navigational menu of the website. Then enter the username and password that has been assigned to you. Don't have login information yet?  Contact me so we can get an account created for you.

I have a password that I use for most of my on-line accounts.  Can I change the password you assigned to me?

Yes. You will need to log in initially using the password I assigned to you. Once you log in, you can change your password at any time in your Client Profile page, that you find under the FORMS tab.

What if I forget or lose my password and login information?

If you simply forgot your password, you can still go to the Login page by clicking the Login link. Click on the blue link "forgot password" to the right of the "Login" button and, in the new "Forgot Password" window, enter your username and click on the "Continue" button. You will receive an email shortly with your password included.

If you misplaced both your username and password, contact me and I will forward you your information.

I’m trying to log in, but it will not accept my username or password, what do I do?

Remember that the login information is case sensitive, so enter it exactly like it was given to you. Also, type in your login credentials and DO NOT copy/paste it, as this procedure can include empty spaces, which count in a password, thus rendering incorrect. Again, if you do not remember your login credentials, you can contact me via email and I'll forward them to you.

9. Will my data in my private client account be kept confidential, secured and safe? 

Is the client center and my data secured and safe?

Yes! In fact, there are 3 levels of security: provided to keep your data safe and confidential:  

  1. Username and password protected;
  2. Verisign Security Certificate protects your data on this site; 
  3. Secured pages (https://)

Is my information confidential?

Yes. This site is protected by a username/password system. You are the only one that has access to your information.

10. Can I contact you in-between our scheduled coaching sessions? 

For our Premier Individual coaching clients who have signed up for coaching that includes access to a Private Client Area, if something that comes up in between our sessions, you can post your questions to the Client Log and we can have "just in time" coaching via your Private Client Website.

11. What resources will be available to me once I register? 

For clients who have signed up for our Premier Individual coaching with access to a Private Client Area, you will receive a "Welcome Pack" which consists of some basic forms, documents and resources that will help to get us started in the coaching process. By completing the information in the welcome packet, you are providing me with some helpful information, so that I know best how to support you, guide you and work together with you. It includes a "Client Profile" form, a "Goals" form and also a "Discovery" form.  You will also find our coaching agreement located in this packet. It is customary for you to complete these items prior to our initial coaching session together.

12. What if I need to reschedule my appointment? 

It's easy. With at least a 48-hour notice, you can reschedule any appointment by using the online calendar system if you are registered for our Premier Individual Coaching Service that comes with access to your Private Client Area. To reschedule any appointment, Just complete the following steps:

  1. Log into your Private Client Website Area.
  2. Click on the Calendar Menu.
  3. Locate and click on the desired block of “Available” time (or if you already have an existing appointment, click on the title of your existing appointment that you wish to reschedule)
  4. Click on the "edit" button and change the details of the appointment to correspond with an "Available" block of time.
  5. The calendar will update itself, you'll see your new appointment reflected and I will receive an email notification letting me know of the change. 

13. How can I pay for the Coaching Programmes & Services? 

Payment for Individual Coaching is payable in advance upon scheduling your session. You can pay by PayNow or PayLah if you are using a PayNOW member Bank or institution in Singapore to make payment. Simply scan the QR Code which will be made available to you for you to make payment when you register for Individual Coaching to confirm your session.

If you are contracting for Team Coaching or customised Workshop(s), you will receive an Invoice for payment when the Terms of the Contract has been mutually agreed. To confirm the Contract, payment of the Invoice will need to be received by Bank transfer as advised in the Invoice.
